Why Charcha?
Charcha started from a simple feeling. As AI became better and better, we noticed that our conversations were becoming shorter. Questions that once led to long discussions with friends, mentors, or even ourselves were suddenly ending with a single answer on a screen. It was convenient, but something about it felt incomplete.
Some of the most important ideas in our lives never arrived as instant answers. They came from disagreement, from hearing a different perspective, from sitting with uncertainty for a while. Sometimes clarity came days later, after going back and forth with the same question. We missed that process.
So we started building Charcha.
Not because we thought the world needed another AI product. In fact, there are already plenty of tools that are incredibly good at giving answers. What interested us was everything that happens before an answer feels right. The conversations, the doubts, the changing opinions, the moments when someone points out something you had never considered before.
The name Charcha comes from the Hindi word for conversation. It felt appropriate because that’s what this is really about. Not replacing thinking, and not telling people what to believe. Just creating a space where ideas can be explored a little longer and where clarity is something you arrive at, not something that is handed to you.
Some questions deserve more than a quick answer. We think they deserve a conversation.
